The 14-day trial, how to cancel, and what happens to founding pre-orders.
Where things stand today
The hosted beta at beta.virling.com is free, and nothing is billed for it. Paid hosted plans are not open yet. The only payment we take today is an optional founding pre-order, covered below. The rules for paid plans on this page apply from the day they open. Self-hosting is free, so there is nothing to cancel or refund.
The 14-day trial
Every paid plan starts with a 14-day trial. A card is required to start it. Cancel at any time before the trial ends and you are not charged. Founding members have already paid their first month, and it runs as their trial: the first charge comes when it ends. If you do not cancel, your card is charged when the trial ends and the subscription renews each month after that.
No refunds after the trial
Once the trial has ended and you have been charged, we do not give refunds. That includes the current month, months you did not use, extra seats and plan changes. The trial is there so you can try the service fully before paying, and we ask you to use it to decide. If you were charged because of our error, such as a duplicate charge or an amount that does not match the price you were shown, write to us and we will put it right. We will also refund where the law requires it.
How to cancel
Billing is processed by Dodo Payments, which also sends your receipts. Self-serve cancellation is not in the account settings yet. Until it is, email hello@virling.com from the address on your account and we will cancel it for you. Send the request before the trial or billing period ends, since a charge that has already happened is not refunded. Cancelling stops future charges. When cancellation is available in your account settings, we will say so here.
Founding pre-orders
The first 50 customers of each plan can hold a founding price: $11.40 a month for Personal instead of $19, and $29 a month for Agency instead of $79. You pay the first month today, and that payment covers your first month after paid plans open. Nothing more is charged until then.
Changed your mind before launch? Reply "refund" to your welcome email or write to hello@virling.com at any time before paid plans open, and we refund every payment you made. Once paid plans open, there are no refunds, the same as for everyone else after the trial. Cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged for anything beyond what you already paid.
Taxes and currency
Prices exclude taxes where they apply. A refund returns the amount you paid, to the original payment method, through Dodo Payments. Your bank may take a few days to show it.
