What Virling does not do.
Virling answers one question: which visits turned into payments. If you need one of these, a different tool will serve you better, and here is a good one for each.
Session replay
Virling does not record screens, clicks or mouse moves. It keeps the page, the source and the payment, not what people typed. To watch sessions, use OpenReplay, which is open source and can run on your own servers.
Heatmaps
Virling shows how far each page was scrolled and how long it was read, but not where people clicked on it. For click and scroll maps, Microsoft Clarity is free.
Feature flags
Virling does not turn features on or off for users. Unleash is an open source flag service you can self-host.
A/B tests
Virling does not split traffic or pick a winner. GrowthBook is open source and runs experiments. You can still compare two date ranges in Virling, or tag each variant with a goal, to see which one brought paying customers.
What it does instead
Virling links each visit to the payment it led to: the post, search or AI answer behind every sale, revenue per channel, page and campaign, and which customers keep paying. See how it works or try the demo.
